At the Indian Navy’s Karwar naval base, Vipra implemented a cutting-edge clean gas suppression system to protect Electrical Sub Station, UPS Room and Battery Room. The project utilized FK-5-1-12, an eco-friendly agent, which offers fast suppression without damaging the high-value naval equipment or the surrounding environment.

In the 66MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project for GSECL, Vipra delivered a high-performance clean gas suppression system, designed to protect the battery storage units and control rooms. Given the high fire risks associated with Li-ion batteries, especially thermal runaway, we installed a combination of an Aspiration System and Gas Detection System for early detection of smoke and gas vapors. The Aspiration System ensures rapid detection of the smallest traces of smoke, while the Gas Detection System monitors the air for harmful gases emitted from Li-ion batteries. Additionally, the fire suppression system, using FK-5-1-12, ensures safe and effective fire control without damaging the battery storage or electrical components

Voltech Vipra executed a clean gas suppression system for Ola Electric, Battery Charging Room. Utilizing Novec 1230, the system offers rapid fire suppression without causing any damage to the electrical systems or production equipment, which is critical for maintaining uninterrupted manufacturing processes at Ola’s electric vehicle production facility.
